Over 70 Years of History
1956
John Brewer Sr. purchased the Star Alliance Publishing Company in Grandville, Michigan. With only eight employees, the company serviced several local publications, including the Standale Advertiser, from a 4,000 square foot building.
1973
Grandville Printing Company moved to a new location in support of increased publication work. The new 12,000 square foot property housed over 100 employees working over three shifts.
1987
Grandville Printing Company moved to a 107,000 square foot building. Scaling to a new location with more space brought about more staff and technology. Flying pasters were added to the web offset presses, dramatically increasing production capacities.
1992
Technological improvements, including Macintosh computer systems, heat-set printing, and digital consoles, were added to each press.
